Where Avenues for Justice Landed in 2023!

Avenues for Justice (AFJ) just wrapped up a record breaking fundraising and programmatic year, raising over $2M towards court advocacy, enrichment programs and wraparound services. We helped over 500 justice impacted youth and young adults from 39 of NYC’s 51 Council Districts--- a record number of Participants for AFJ! Our HIRE Up program connected Participants to career exploration experiences, including job readiness events, career panels and presentations from partners like Workforce 1, Goldman Sachs and BlackRock. Participants enjoyed a host of enrichment activities including college visits, field trips to sporting venues and museums, cooking classes, and our upstate annual picnic. All of this would not have been possible without support from you, our Board, corporate partners, funders, and donors.
