For Auction – Paid One-Month Internship with Scholastic Books
Give the high school junior or senior or college student in your life a paid one-month summer internship at Scholastic Reading Club.
Scholastic Corporation is the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books and a leader in educational technology and related services and children’s media. With more than 90 years in children's publishing, Scholastic's philosophy remains: every child deserves the opportunity to learn to read and develop a love of reading for a lifetime. Scholastic believes that literacy – the ability to read, write, and understand – is the birthright of every child in the world as well as the pathway to succeed in school and realize a complete life.
The one-month internship will take place during summer 2015 (June through August) and is hosted at Scholastic’s corporate headquarters in SoHo. Interns will have not only the opportunity to learn different aspects of the Scholastic Reading Club business but also a chance to hear from Scholastic leaders, who will give career advice and information regarding their divisions.
Recipient is subject to all normal Scholastic Inc. employment related policies and procedures.
This life-altering experience cannot be valued. It is priceless. It will be available for bidding during the auction at the Andrew Glover Youth Program's Second Chance Awards Dinner & Auction on Thursday, October 23, 2014. Click here for tickets to the event.
